This storage system is mainly composed of high quality beams, the horizontal components of the storage loading unit, the longitudinal frame, the vertical components of the rack to which the beams are installed, and the transmission of loads and forces to the floor.
The beam and the frame constitute a gate shaped structure in both the height and length directions. The load capacity and expansion capacity (maximum allowable weight per unit load) of this storage structure especially depend on the following variables.
The loading capacity is defined by frames and beams together. For example, if you need 2000 kg per layer, then we need to make sure the upright and beam both can load 2000 kg per layer. A pallet rack with three loading levels (except the floor level), each level can store 2000 Kg, so each bay can load 6000 Kg. (3 x 2000 kg).
The required upright profile of the frame depends on the number of levels, the height distance of these loading levels, and the number of carriages in length. In addition, for stability considerations, the height of the upper loading height, frame width and total stroke must be considered.
