Drive in and drive thru are the most popular forms of high density storage, in which pallets are stored in deep channels, and the channels are separated by the uprights.

Drive In or Drive Thru widely used in the warehouse with large number of similar products. Due to high density storage, some products are not easy to get because the pallets are stored from floor to ceiling. So it's better to leave some space for picking the pallets. However, dense storage space can produce up to seven times more product space than floor stacking, or three times more space than pallet racks, because narmal pallet racks will need more space in the aisle for operating the forklift.
