Heavy duty pallet racks, also known as beam-type racks or location-based racks, are typically heavy-duty storage systems. The process starts with unitizing the goods, which means packaging the goods and grouping them based on their weight and other characteristics to determine the type, specification, size of the pallet, as well as the single pallet load capacity and stacking height. Based on these, the span, depth, and shelf spacing of the unit rack are determined. The height of the rack is then decided according to the effective height of the warehouse's roof and the maximum lifting height of the forklift.

For low and high-level warehouses, operations are often carried out using forward-moving electric forklifts, counterbalanced electric forklifts, or three-way forklifts. When racks are relatively low, electric stackers can also be used. For very high-level warehouses, stacker cranes are used. This type of racking system has a high space utilization rate and provides flexible and convenient access. When combined with computer management or control systems, it can essentially meet the requirements of modern logistics systems. These racks are most commonly used in high-level and very high-level warehouses (automated warehouses predominantly use this type of racking). Features of Heavy Duty Pallet Racks

Heavy duty pallet racks are made of high-quality cold-rolled steel plates that are roll-formed, with columns that can reach up to 10 meters without seams. The beams are made of high-quality square steel, which is strong and not easily deformed. The connection between the beams and the columns is made with cylindrical protrusions that fit securely, making assembly and disassembly easy. Lock pins are used to prevent the forklift from lifting the beams during operation. The entire rack surface undergoes processes such as acid cleaning, phosphating, and electrostatic spraying, making it resistant to corrosion and rust, and giving it a beautiful appearance. Heavy duty pallet racks meet the needs for storing large quantities of goods and managing a wide variety of items. When used with mechanical handling tools, they ensure that storage and handling operations are orderly and efficient.

The goods stored in heavy duty pallet racks are not squeezed against each other, minimizing material loss and ensuring the integrity of the items.
